GEMS has been selected by PF Flyers to celebrate the accomplishments of Bob Cousy with a special in-store one-of-a kind installation honoring the NBA’s most Valuable player in 1957 and his six championship rings. “The Cooz” has been regarded as the “First Great Point Guard in the NBA” With his eye-catching dribbling and unorthodox passing; Cousy popularized modern guard play and during this time, raised the profile of the Boston Celtics and the entire NBA. His fast-paced playing style was later emulated by the likes of Magic Johnson and Allen Iverson.
