GEMS General Announcement - First Thursdays, RSVP's only

Going forward GEMS will only invite guests who RSVP for our First Thursday's. I mean lets admit it, GEMS is the dopest sneaker, art and lifestyle boutique in Seattle! We've always brought great Artists and we're going to keep bringing it. If your down with us you'll be the first ones to know about the RSVP shows. If your not down you'll have to find someone that already is down with us to be invited. So let's refer back to the basics, what does RSVP mean? The term comes from the French expression "répondez s'il vous plaît", meaning "please respond". Unless the invitations states "regrets only" all guests that receive an invitation need to communicate if they will be attending or not. It is important for all parties big or small because it helps the host put together accurate menus and party needs for the appropriate amount of people and having guests that show up without a formal R.S.V.P. is just plain rude and unthoughtful.
