The founders of Creative Recreation noticed a huge void in the footwear market. The industry was offering either dress shoes to be worn with a suit or athletic inspired sneakers that were considered unacceptable at most formal functions. Footwear for young professionals with style was no where to be found. Creative Recreation realized early on, that being successful in today's world economy did not require wearing a suit and tie. It was just the opposite. This generation is in control of its destiny. This generation is more creative and certainly more inventive in terms of recreation; thus the stylish sneaker was born. GEMS has an assortment of styles that are far different then the mainstream retailers.
